Jamie is Owner and Solicitor Director of Pod Legal. He has extensive experience in advising businesses of all sizes on all aspects of intellectual property, technology and social media law and is highly regarded within the legal industry.
He’s an expert columnist for the Australia Post Stories website, as well as the Acuity magazine, which is a publication belonging to Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Jamie has also featured in the media in over a dozen countries and provides expert commentary for News Limited, SBS News and other National media outlets, in relation to matters within his areas of expertise.
An Adjunct Teaching Fellow at the Bond University Faculty of Law, Jamie has written and delivered the syllabus for E-Commerce & the Law, which is a specialist subject taught at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.

Jamie has delivered presentations and workshops relating to intellectual property, online legal risk and social media law on behalf of Tourism Queensland, the National Stock Exchange of Australia, Commerce Queensland and many private businesses and organisations throughout Australia, including Bupa, Business Chicks, Hyatt Hotel, Collective Hub and CrimSafe.
Jamie has received the First In Class academic awards at Bond University for E-Commerce & the Law, Information Technology & the Law and Entrepreneurship.
Away from work, Jamie enjoys playing competitive tennis on the Seniors circuit. He’s held world rankings in Singles (#25), Doubles (#20) and Mixed (#6) divisions and has represented Australia. Jamie has won in excess of 14 State, National and Oceanic tennis titles.
Karan White is Owner and Business Director of Pod Legal. She has extensive business management experience across a broad range of industries, both in Australia and internationally, including the United States, New Zealand and the Caribbean. Karan is accustomed to reporting to Boards and has held in excess of 40 committee management positions and various executive management roles.
Throughout her career, Karan has been the recipient of numerous professional awards. Very highly regarded by her peers, Karan continues to receive accolades for her commitment to mentoring business women and for her enthusiasm for improvement.

Away from work, Karan advocates for the welfare of animals, adds to her collection of vintage brooches and works on developing her skills as a photographer.
